When you are at a crossroads, you may find yourself feeling confused, overwhelmed, and struggling to make decisions that feel right for you. Maybe you lie awake with your thoughts spinning as you try to figure out where to go from here. Or perhaps people are asking you what comes next for you, and you simply don't have the answer.
Although times of transition can be incredibly disorienting, sometimes that disruption shakes us out of the trance of being on autopilot and presents us with an opportunity to ask ourselves what truly matters to us and what our soul is seeking. Even though everything inside of us may shout that we need an answer now, finding our true path may require slowing down, listening to what our heart is telling us that it needs, and exploring what feels right and true for us. This process comes up regularly during times of break up, grief, job transitions, or an empty nest. During these times of transition, I will help you explore questions to clarify how to take steps in a direction that honors who you are and what you need. I will not be thrown off by a little floundering or indecision. Together we'll reorient what this season of life has in store for you, and identify how you can care for yourself as you find your way through the in-between times.
After a breakup or divorce, you might be re-learning who you are outside of that relationship. It is common that you may have had a shared community or friend group which now feels more complicated. Or maybe the breakup was caused by a betrayal, and now you're questioning both yourself and the other person. Let's see if we can find our way back to who you are at your core, and what direction makes sense for you now.
Loss of a loved one can alter our whole world. We find ourselves asking who we are without that person, or how we might move forward into a life that does not include them. Although grief is often painful, sometimes our feelings can be complicated. There may even be occasions when we find life is actually a little easier for us now that the person has passed. This can be challenging, too, and we can experience waves of guilt and confusion. I approach grief with collective remembering, making space for all of your conflicting emotions. I will help you honor your loss and identify ways to adapt to the many changes occurring for you.
Most major transitions can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected from ourselves, and pulled in different directions. My goal is to help you connect with compassion for your experiences, regain your sense of trust in yourself, and make decisions to move you forward in ways that align with your values.
